I saw Dr. George for a thumb issue. I had classic history and symptoms for a 'trigger thumb', and mentioned that this is what I thought I had to Dr. George. He palpated the area and said that trigger thumb would hurt in an area where I was feeling no discomfort. He suspected arthritis and ordered X-rays and referred me to a hand specialist.
