Honestly, it feels like a big gamble buying from them. They really need to be more transparent with their listings.
Has anyone here tried making a complaint against Manheim when they refuse to refund you, even though they didn’t provide correct or complete info? Just wondering if anyone has managed to take it further or actually get a refund when Manheim didn’t disclose the real condition of the car. Not recommended at allllllllllllllll
I'm very disappointed with Manheim. They consistently hide important issues or disadvantages with the cars they sell. Their listings are often misleading because they avoid showing anything that might reveal a fault. For example: If the seats are not electric, they don’t take photos of the manual seat handles. If a car has rear damage, they take photos with the tailgate closed so you can’t see the actual condition. If there is damage underneath the vehicle, they never provide any photos at all. Don’t waste your money or your time with Manheim. In my experience, they are completely unreliable and extremely misleading with the information they provide. It feels like they do everything they can to hide faults, and when you discover problems after purchase, they simply repeat “sold as is” and offer no real help. Unprofessional Liars and Cheats. Purchased a vehicle that had the engine swapped for a unserviceable engine . This was done to deliberately deceive any prospective purchaser. Vehicle was returned to the Adelaide once it was confirmed the engine numbers did not match and were in fact from different models.
