In a metropolis of millions, Manhattan Saddlery is truly one of a kind--the only equestrian tack shop in New York City. We have been outfitting riders, horses, and lovers of equestrian style since 1912. Our historic, split-level space on 24th street is a shopping experience not to be missed, presenting a carefully selected assortment of modern English equestrian clothing, equipment, and gifts in a warm atmosphere befitting our rich heritage. You can count on expert service from our friendly staff members, who are equally ins... read more

Copperfields The only option...This tack shop is really the only tack shop (that I am aware of) in Manhattan. They could be so much better that they are. I support them as much as possible but don't love this place. Huge (too big) and hit and miss selection
I would like to give it no stars I have been shopping at that site since it was Millers. Since becoming Manhattan Saddlery it has become the worst tack store that ever existed in NYC. They will sell an inexperienced novice rider, inappropriate and unsuitable equipment and then refuse to take it back or exchange it even though it is brought back with the receipt well within the 10 day return date. This behavior comes from the manager who is extremely rude as well. He shows a lack of knowledge in equestrian affairs to make matt... read more
Negativity is Misrepresentation I disagree with all of the negative reviews about this store. The staff work hard to provide the best service they can. The prices that they offer may seem high, but they are more than fair, and there is not much they can do about them as the manufacturers are the ones that set the prices, not them. Granted, if you enjoy shopping for cheap material, then this store is not for you, and I recommend eBay. This is a store that sells equipment from prestigious brands such as Ariat, Lugana, et al. Truly Terrible although it is nice for us horsey people to have such a large store in such a great location, this business is a sad contribution. The prices are laughable, obviously trying to take advantage of people who either don't know better, or don't know what else to do do with their money. The staff, including manager Mike, are rude, nasty, and the minute they sense they might lose out on making a dime from you, their phony friendliness melts away real quickly. Customer service here is just shameful. Not taking a retu... read more
Manhattan Saddlery - Good news I cannot speak to the dissing of the store cosmetic status as I shop on line from the West Coast. However, my experience with Mike Santiago and his staff's support and customer service has been terrific. I remember this store from years ago as Millers, have not visited there since the 70's when I lived and showed horses on the east coast circuits, but my loyalties remain with the store based on many years of help and support even through the transitions in ownership over the year. I buy my cust... read more
Manhattan Saddlery I have to say, I disagree with the previous review. It is a big place, but that's a positive for me--pretty nice selection, sort of a one-stop destination. The inventory is mostly high-end stuff, especially apparel. I got Pikeur breeches and custom Vogel boots here, and the price was lower than I expected, especially for this city. The staff was particularly friendly and helpful. The location isn't the greatest and the interior could use an update, but it has a real old New York feel that's slowly disappea... read more
mislead to spend more The salesman talked me into buying a helmet that cast 200$ for my child. Misleading me into thinking that the expensive helmet would better protect my child when there were other helmets that cost less that have the same exact safety ratings.
