Karen and Mike deserve awards for how much they have had to put up with along with how much they have had to go to bat for me over the last year when I was treated poorly and dishonestly by my landlord. There are bad people and bad staff no matter where you go but these two stepped in and really fought for me when I seemed to hit the jackpot of individuals who prey on the weak and uninformed. Fortunately with a proper education and community of support and information, I am no longer that weak individual.
It seems as though there needs to be a third party advocate or observer for those that utilize MHA especially the establishment by the post office. A lof of belittling and nasty attitudes from the staff there which seems to be never ending. It is unfortunate to have to utilize these services at all but even more so when you are met with individuals that dont appear to like their job or the individuals they have to work with. But theyre perfectly fine and thriving it that uglines.

I'm not sure what happened at the MHA.You have to email them to talk to anyone because they NEVER answer their phones.They are always changing people so you never know who the worker is.They are very uncaring. They are rude. They take weeks to get back to you when you email them.It's as if they hate their jobs.Go to the flint hills area aging section 8 program instead of this one. They are more friendly and they care more
