Avoid Dr. Herman P. Lam at all costs. He is the most arrogant, disrespectful physician I have ever encountered. When I asked a simple yes/no question about whether or not I still needed to take the CT brain scan test with the referral date expired in 2024, he mocked me, saying, 'A-chim (middle-aged/old woman), it is 2026 now.' Apparently overbooked. You have to wait at least one hour even you've made a much earlier appointment. And the doctor is always in a rush with a careless attitude. He never wants to say an extra word.很明显接受了过多预约，即使你提前预约好时间，但每一次都要至少预约时间过一个小时才能看上。医生根本不想多说一句话，每一次都是等一小时看病五分钟，急着赶你走人
I would give Dr. Lam zero stars if I could. My elderly mother went to see him on Tuesday for her throat. He had the audacity to YELL at her the whole appointment. How can you treat patients like this? He has an extremely rude demeanor. There was no treatment solution at the end either! Doctors like him need to reevaluate their career choice. Another elderly patient who was there that day said the same thing. Horrible, horrible. She will not be returning to this monster.
Terrible wait times, even if you have an appointment. They overbook their patients, and the doctor is rushing every appt. Expect to wait 1.5+ hours to be seen. My husband had an appointment at 11:45 and was not seen until 2pm.
Dr. Herman Lam is a knowledgeable ENT professional. The staff is friendly and welcoming (special mention to Anna), and the quick wait times are just a few things to highlight about this practice. He makes the experience, which I never look forward to, easy and painless. If he is not your first consultation, he would definitely win you over if he was a second opinion - without effort. Thank you for making each visit a pleasant one!
