Very disappointed that the boat did not leave the port and turned into “stationary dining” due to the weather. I received no prior information about this change—neither by email, text, nor on their website—even though I had contacted customer service beforehand and asked several questions, and the situation has been like this over two weeks. Invited out for dinner on the Hudson, and the night couldn’t have been more perfect, with views and weather. The staff and entertainment did an amazing job. The tickets were very expensive but didn’t include the steak dinner, so we did have to pay extra if we wanted the steak, otherwise most of the menu items were all inclusive.
City Cruises is a fantastic way to see New York from the water. The views of the skyline, bridges, and the Statue of Liberty are unforgettable, and the staff is generally friendly and helpful. Cruises can get crowded, and food and drinks are a bit pricey, but the experience of being out on the water makes it worth it. It’s perfect for sightseeing, photos, and enjoying the city from a new perspective.
