Refuses transgender care. Not transgender friendly.
While we are no longer patients (we moved away from Manhattan) we were very happy with the care we received from Larry Pierce and Dr. Callahan. Both listened to our concerns, problems and opinions and always gave us options and suggestions for our care. Both are professional and friendly.
Was supposed to give me a call back to tell me they didn’t accept my insurance but never did. Ended up paying out of pocket to be seen for a visit that lasted less then 10 minutes. Didn’t feel properly respected nor heard.
there was some frustration, but it seems to be solved.
Dr. Callahan is the BEST physician I have ever had. He is very friendly and highly knowledgeable especially regarding medicines. For the first time in my life, I fully understand the medications I take and the purpose of each medication. Dr. Callahan treats his patients' issues as though it is his own to fix. To say I am impressed is an understatement. Keep up all the hard work!
