This is a place with so much history! Bob, the caretaker was incredibly kind showing us around and telling us many interesting details about the lives of these brave pioneers: Charlie and Jane Adams. You need to pay in cash (which we didn’t have, so an Eftpos machine would be handy. I hope the Shire finds a new caretaker, someone as kind and knowledgable as Bob. Thank you so much, Bob! All the best!
We weren’t sure if the homestead would be open but we had a look and it was! Thankfully Bob felt well enough to give us a tour of the homestead. We camped the night and had a fantastic Wheatbelt experience.
