Rude Owner Our Soceer Team consisting of over 35 people were turned away 8-23 due to the owners policy of 1 check per group. We asked if we would have walked in individually if we could be seated & served & we were denied service. We will not recommed going here as a group or as individuals. We gave our business to an establishment down the street that were more than willing to accomodate our needs!
Kid friendly, good food This place is a great place to take a family or a large group of active kids! The dishes are pretty good (pasta and the like) as is the pizza. Not the best in the world, but a reasonable price too.
Good setting with average pizza - it's a little surprising they can sustain business with so many new pizza options. However, if you have a large group with numerous kids in Lafayette this is a wonderful option. You'll leave full, the kids will be pleased, and you'll delay coming back.
Had an order of the Minestrone Soup bowl (~$5): carrots, zucchini, squash, chard, potatoes and pinto beans. Also had an order of the Lasagna Primavera (~$11): spinach pasta stuffed with mushrooms and mozzarella, parmigiano, & ricotta cheeses. Additionally, had an order of The Sicilian pizza w/pesto sauce(~$25): sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, kalamata olives, red onions, and feta cheese. Food was delicious, staff was slow, and the ambiance was airy (outdoor patio).
Terrible Management – The food is subpar and the owner is a short, incompetent balding man with little sense of running a successful business- which would explain why this place is always empty. Must have short man complex or something at his staggering height of 5'5. But for a more detailed review about the food. The "house" wines are la terre, which sell for about $20 a bottle. But you can go down to TARGET and buy it for about $7. There's the quality of Mangia for you. The salads are about $10 and consist of 90% lettuce. ... read more

RUDE, RUDE, RUDE – I placed an order over the phone and the owner didn't allow us to use our coupon. I gave him back his pizza and walked out. Even though I said "I'd never return" and that I'm a frequent customer, he said "he didn't care". Don't go - the food isn't all that great.
Can't beat it! – What can I say....this is my favorite all around pizza! If you want great traditoinal pizza...with incredible crust, sauce, and fresh toppings...look no further. And it's a very family friendly spot as well. Give Mangia a try...you won't be sorry!
