Went back today (6 months later see initial review below) and was completely disappointed. I've changed my review from 5 stars to 1 star. I understand that this was the last day before the store closed for vacation, but the Schiacciata Siciliana that we ordered to go was inedible. Barely any mozzarella and the main piece of eggplant was completely skin. Even the bread although crispy on top, the bottom (which should have been the same) was rubbery (all for $18). LOVE this local place, it's right around the corner from my office and everything is always fresh and delicious. I try to bring other people here for lunch meetings so they can experience this place 😀

If you like authentic Italian food, you have to come here. Everything is fresh, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the prices are very good. I felt like I was in Italy. Se vi piace il cibo italiano autentico, dovete venire qui. Tutto è fresco, l'atmosfera è piacevole e i prezzi sono molto buoni. Mi sentivo come se fossi in Italia.
