I'm new to Chicago and have been desperately hopping from one salon to another – just hoping someone could finally get my haircut right. Brenda is incredibly talented and this is the first haircut here that actually satisfied me. She also did an amazing job with my 6-year-old daughter's hair – we both walked out smiling! 10/10 – she’s amazing, and I’ll definitely be coming back!
Brenda’s been cutting my and my son’s hair for *quite* some time now, and consistently does a bang-up job. In a pinch, I walked my kid to a nearby barbershop for a quick cut before a recent event of his; the end result was: (1) It was bad enough that his head needed to be significantly trimmed down, (2) I performed said trimming upon getting home, and (3) Immediate family members were confounded with my getting him in such a predicament. Cutest salon and owner!!! Definitely the best blow out I’ve ever received! Wish I was local so I could go more! Would recommend to anyone.
Brenda has a gift. I’ve tried so many of the barbers around Lincoln park and Lakeview in my 30 years living here, and Brenda’s haircuts are among the best I’ve had. I highly recommend going to Manely - you’ll leave with a fantastic cut, & Brenda will remember how to cut it the same way every time you go. And she is a really a great person too!
