The gumbo and hot roast beef poyboy were both perfect! We even ordered some gumbo to go.
Consistent food! Fried shrimp is always amazing - super fresh and crispy batter and big sized shrimp. Love their green beans too- so fresh and tender!!!
We did have a large party. The servers didn't communicate with each other at all. One group had already ordered food and when we asked our waiter he said no they only ordered drinks. We asked the group and they had already placed orders. Everyone's food came out at separate times. The worse part is 2 ppl one of them being my son didn't get their food until everyone else had already ate. We ended up splitting mine and got his to go. Delicious food and huge portions. We had the special chicken cracklin with spicy ranch for an appetizer and Chicken Piccata and Veal Parmesan. The Piccata was amazing and the meals came in a huge portion. The side ceasar salad was also the best we've had.
Service was a little slow, but they were packed and had a lot of large party tables
