0 Star if there is a choice. totally unethical and cheating practice.my 85+ yrs old In-law with new shoulder fracture was verified and confirmed insurance coverage before visit. After a short conversation without any exam, we were told to revisit one month later. There were more than four times of confirmation of revisit by email and app. Then one day before the revisit, his office notified us that the doctor was not in the insurance network, we would have to pay majority of expenses if we wanted to continue. how ridiculous!... read more

My experience with Dr. Virk and his team was EXCELLENT. Over Labor Day weekend I ruptured my bicep tendon. I was able to book an appointment immediately and schedule surgery. He was informative, professional, timely and most of all the surgery was a great success. I was back to playing sports in no time. I am a Nurse Practitioner and I know from the inside what good care looks like. Dr. Virk and his team provide excellent care and outcomes.
DR Virk was unbelievable from start to finish. I did my Rotator with him May 2024 and I listened to everything he told me to do when to start PT when to go back to the gym and today im back in the gym with full range of motion and no pain at all. He is Excellent!
We didn’t like him. I wanted to know the etiology of my condition. He didn’t provide any answers and brushed it off as normal wear and tear despite radiographic evidence indicating surgery or other immediate treatment is needed. Instead he sent me for PT which further aggravated my previous isolated pain at upper arm to radiating pain from shoulder through elbow. I’m now scheduled for arthroscopic surgery by another orthopedic surgeon outside NYU who is competent and knowledgable. Not impressed.
