Just some basic trails which honestly is great. Dead quiet with nice views for watching the small section of water. See the glacier carved rocks and of course the historical structures of the old fort. There is camping available although I've never been but I'd say it's worth a try.
It's always beautiful and clean here. There are plenty of little trails to explore and it's rarely too crowded. There are a few small sections of beach as well. A great trail to walk your dog. The trail is a really easy trail to walk but if you're wanting to complete the loop there are some pretty steep steps that would make it less accessible. There is a great view of mount Rainier about half way around the loop on clear days. (:
Great place to just walk around and enjoy the water and nature. Plus the historic buildings are pretty awesome to explore.
