I have been going here for about 23 years. I really love the staff when the lead doctor was Dr. Guinan. Since it has switched over to the bigger conglomerate, I feel that the service has suffered in the care from the doctors themselves is less than. I feel like I always have a really frustrating experience with this OB/GYN office. After multiple visits, I consistently felt like my concerns were dismissed rather than truly listened to. Appointments often felt rushed, and instead of taking the time to understand what was going on, I was quickly given a prescription and sent on my way. Dr. Martin is an excellent care provider. I appreciate her content expertise and the care she demonstrated during my appointment. She is a caring person and a knowledgeable professional.
If you have your annual exam here you are not allowed to ask questions or they will charge you for an additional office visit. Even if the total time you spend with the doctor is only approximately 15 minutes. The nurse practitioner asks if you have questions for the Dr. but they will not warn you that it will incur extra charges. Really all that's allowed is a pap smear. While Dr. Lydia Lormand was fine if a bit perfunctory, the policies of this office are what's wrong with healthcare these days.
Unprofessional, chaotic, and untrustworthy. Horrible experience and we would never go back here again. We felt like we were alone as the doctors would not believe what the office was telling us and the office had no idea about orders from doctors. I also question their medical advice because they don’t take the time to listen or just ignore what patient is telling them.
