Doctor Toka was phenomenal. His bedside manner was compassionate and empathetic. I had an ER visit recently and was concerned because they didn't bother to talk to me about my bloodwork or the results. It was left up to me to try and decipher what it all meant. He went over the results with me, explained what each test meant and really put me completely at ease about my health. He was respectful, professional and compassionate. My mom went in for a stent in her heart, we were told she needed triple bypass later that day, it was done the next day and then 28 days later they killed her. We were told over and over she was fine, they discharged her to rehab ten days later then exactly one week later we took her back to the ER, 20-30 hours later we were back in a room on the same cardiac floor, where the same cardiologists and nephrologists Dr. Dale and Dr. Bala discharged her from. Dr. Bala, Palomino, and Celaya saved my husbands life from a deadly autoimmune disease Wegener’s that came out of nowhere in 2015. He is doing well now and has this group of doctors to Thank for his life. They are very caring and very knowledgeable about all things kidney. See them you’ll be glad you did.
