If your family member is unable to dress themselves, get out of bed themselves, feed themselves, and use the restroom completely on their own, I would strongly advise you look elsewhere for their care. There is a huge disconnect between the NPs and the staff, which resulted in notable lapses of care. My grandmother was discharged with an open wound. My husband had a very positive experience at MH&RC. The facility is spotless; The day to day staff, nurses and therapists were very attentive and helpful as was the administrative staff. I would highly recommend this facility- the patients come first here.

My mother in law has been back at rehab for about a week and a half for Stage 4 wound care after a successful stay when she broke her femur late summer. We are lucky enough to be able to be with her 10-12 hours a day and the compassion and care given we have observed first hand given to her and others by all types of staff has been very good.
