Dr Manarey met with me after my initial consultation was re scheduled due to a family emergency and I respectfully paid a 40$ cash rescheduling fee. First question was generic and what brought me to the apt. We had such a great experience with Dr. Manary! My husband went in for a follow-up 12 days after his septoplasty, and we were honestly so impressed. Dr. Manary was incredibly kind and patient—he took the time to answer all our questions, gently cleaned his sinuses, and removed the stitches so carefully. While cleaning his sinuses, he kept checking in on my husband to make sure he was okay and explained everything he was doing and what to expect, which really helped put us at ease. Absolutely terrible doctor, I was the first appointment at 9 am and he didn't even see me until 930 am. Not only that , he just kept working with the secretary/ nurse that the front desk without any regard for me and another patient waiting in the lobby , even though he peeked outside the waiting area . Not only that , he refused to answer questions about if sinuses were related to the issue I was seeing him about, even though sinuses was in his field of expertise. Dr. Manarey performed my septoplasty and corrected my life long deviated septum. He seems like a busy doctor (as I imagine a specialist can be) with quick appointments. He is thorough and knowledgeable. He is a fast talker but is very attentive and good at what he does. I'd recommend, with any specialist, is doing your research first and having your questions ready. Dr. Manarey changed my life. He was kind, considerate, and professional. His staff as well. Always happy to check in. I am sad to see so many complaints though. Specialists in BC are a rare asset. If you get an appointment, get there early. For the price you are paying, count your blessings.
