Review of Deep Tissue Massage This was the worst massage experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve been getting deep tissue massages regularly for years. The therapist didn’t say a word—not to ask about injuries, preferences, or pressure. They aggressively massaged me through a blanket the entire time, with no oils, and relied mostly on jabbing their elbows into my back while using their full body weight.
