I had an amazing experience at the Mammoth Lakes Visitor Center, thanks to Ken “Ollie” Cramer, Visitor Services Specialist. After driving a long way, many lakes were closed due to heavy snow. Ken welcomed us warmly, patiently explained which lakes and trails were accessible, and even suggested the nearby Bishop hot springs for our way home. Thanks to his helpful guidance, we got to enjoy beautiful snowy landscapes, relax in the hot springs, and make wonderful memories.
