Exceptional taste. Reminds me of the pies in NYC.
Great Food with delivery You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Our favorite is the penne a la gumbi. Garlic knots are so yummy and perfect cannoli for dessert.
I have tried a lot of slices from a lot of different places and for the most part many of these place have made pizza a commodity - they all taste the same. Granted, there are some places where the pizza is well below par, but whenever my friends tried to argue the merits of one pizza over another I could never reaaly understand how any one place could stand above the rest. Mammas has the best Gourmet pizza in LA. They are known for their thin crust New York Style Pizza. My favorite is the Roma - perfect crust and the cheese is delicious. MMMMM! And they are a great value. (Mamma's is next to Bristol Farms - in So. Pas)
Best Pizza I have ever had. NY style thin crust. Excellent flavor - perfect crust. Better than Mulberry and Village. This is a no frills place with gourmet pizza and pasta. Better than most top tier restaurants at half the price.
We ordered our pizza from a very friendly staff member. We saw our pizza being hand tossed in front of us, at which point all the fresh toppings were placed on the pizza (you can actually see them doing it) then it was place in a brick oven to bake. The thin crust is incredible. Very fresh and tasty. The ambiance was upbeat and fun, but a no frills place. They ranked at the top of our best pizza list. Next we plan to try Mamma's pasta (I hear it is top quality at a great price)
