Zero stars if I could…I wish I would’ve read the reviews beforehand. I asked for bob length medium knotless. They gave me extra small braids after I consistently told her the size I wanted. I was the first person to arrive and started at 9:30am, I didn’t leave until 6:30pm for short knotless braids. The ladies in the shop move extremely slow. I was burned with hot boiling water on my back while she was dipping my hair because she was too busy laughing and talking. I would never return to this place!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I arrived at 9:00 AM for a braid down and sew-in and did not leave until closing time. Unfortunately, what should have been a routine hair appointment turned into one of the most painful salon experiences I have ever had. Immediately after my hair was done, I experienced severe scalp pain, throbbing headaches, and extreme tenderness. I spent hours taking over-the-counter pain medication just to try to get relief. I visited Mame's Hair Braiding on April 1, 2026, and it was a disaster from start to finish. Despite calling ahead to confirm pricing, they tried to change the total once I arrived, claiming "miscommunication." To make matters worse, I was stuck there from 12:00 PM noon until 12:30 AM the next morning. The establishment is poorly managed; the owner, Mame, is often unreachable despite calls being forwarded to her phone.
