Went in to get the hair trimmed off the back of my neck and practice my Spanish. Baseball game on the big TV, a guy sleeping on the sofa with his mouth open. The barber trimmed my neck in about 2 minutes, slapped some alcohol on it, and refused to accept any payment. I insisted. We argued. He won. I got a trip to the Dominican Republic without leaving Mamaroneck and had an all-around lovely experience. Two big thumbs up and I'll be back.
Mambru has been my barber for over 15 years. This is by far the best barber shop in NY. Reliable & consistent.
