Great food, etc – Not sure why people don't like this place, but I have never had a bad experience. The food is always good, the staff and owners welcoming, and it is great having such a cozy joint right on the Hill. I recommend it.

FAKE 4 Star ratings written by owners – Anything with a 4 star rating or anything that is positive was written by the sneaky family of owners that run Mamacitas. They are covering up their sneaky practices, ripping off customers and non-family employees, and their disgusting restaurant. Their food is disgusting and way overpriced. They overcharge your credit card without telling you and steal the tips of the employees. Steer clear of this greasy hole. The Epstein family are sneaky and really up on themselves. The honest revi... read more

The Hills perfect little Margarita hot spot – Mamacita's has the most delicious queso in Boulder. As a native Texan I have often struggled to find great Mexican food in Boulder until I found Mamacita's that is. The staff is friendly, a great family atmosphere or bar. It is the perfect size restaurant to sit and enjoy your meal and the people you are dining with. Also, the happy hour is so great, really cheap beer and food specials and the always perfect Margarita, whether you are sitting on the patio in Spring or beating the... read more

What a dump and horrible food – I read the reviews here before but still checked out the place cuz my friends wanted to try it. WHAT A DUMP. It took forever for the food to get done and for us to get served. Even though there was no one else in this cramped hole it took forever for us to get our food. When we got our food it was cold and crusty. I couldn't eat the refried beans. None of us could finish half of our food because it was disgusting, LITERALY. Plus, the price was ourageous for such terrible food. TACO BELL IS SO ... read more

Worst place with perverted owners and perverted friends/regulars – Very dirty, people are unfriendly, unless you're jewish, you won't get the time of day. The food is overpriced, they'll charge you $3.50 for chips and salsa and not tell you. All other places give chips and salsa for free. Food was like cardboard. Socially other races were being ridiculed all races except the Jewish race. Strange place with overbearing owners and their perverted dirty old friends chasing college girls.

Bland, bland, bland – Please don't waste your time. Ordered the poblano, egg, and potato burrito. It was extremely bland and disgusting. Their food has absolutely no taste and is overpriced. Don't bother!!

Worst nachos ever, wouldn't dare consider the rest of the menu – This place served the WORST nachos I've ever had - hardly anything on them other than iceberg lettuce and beans. I'd rather eat nachos from the ballpark than these things. I will never return there.

Healthy Mexican grub served in a friendly, eclectic and buzzing atmosphere. – In Short This family-owned restaurant and cantina is appropriately funky for the CU crowd and appeals to health-conscious Boulderites. Huge nachos offer a true mountain of corn tortilla chips topped with beans, cheese, lettuce, jalapenos, guacamole and sour cream. There's also the camarones en salsa rojo, featuring a dozen tender shrimp in a spicy red salsa, served over a bed of red rice.
