The most pleasant kindest people. Impeccable attentive service. Patient and informative with guidance of the menu. This was my first experience of this cuisine and it was the absolute best and the food was amazing! God’s richest blessings upon this establishment. Long Life & Good Success!!!
The food was delicious, the service was excellent. Mama Philo’s needs more space to expand all of this greatness. Food was so good yum 😋 I ordered some to take home.
First thing I’ll mention is that I’m Guyanese and have never tried African (Nigerian) cuisine, however I’ve been curious based on social media. I decided to see where in Long Island, can I find an establishment that had good ratings, so I went with Mama Philo’s. Overall pretty good food, but inconsistent sometimes. Get the okra stew with goat meat!
First time trying fufu and egusi. Me and my daughter love it. Fresh and delicious food with a small dose of spicy but not too much. We enjoyed every single bite of it we are definitely going back and recommend it to everyone who loves this dish.
