Wonderful food, Terrific service I was surprised to find several negative comments here about Mama Mia's. We have dined there several times (when we're in town) over the last couple of years. Every time the food has been delicious and the wait staff have been attentive and polite. I almost always get the Chicken Jerusalem and it is FABULOUS!

Good food,good service,good price points..Tuesday special two for 20.00 spaghetti meatballs,soup or salad 2 glasses of wine!!! Had it can't bet it!!! Come try it... You won't regret it
Avoid all together – I wish I found these reviews before I just spent $90 bucks... I just had the worst fettucini alfredo with chicken ??? and the "chicken" was questionable. It was overcooked, slimy, and fatty! The alfredo sauce tasted like it had some other type of gravy mixed in it... The waitress was working her butt off but because she was working so hard we missed any other type of atmosphere than "hectic". worst service EVER – Maybe I am hard to please at times, but when I go out to eat I feel I am paying for good food, polite service. those are the only two things I expect. With MAma Mias I have only gotten average food and always poor service. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY – This was the most dissapointing dinner at an "Italian Restaurant" that I think I have ever had. I ordered the Osso Bucco. The chef made the sauce with poultry stock. It was served with pasty mashed potatoes, the meat was dry and the vegetables were completely undercooked. How do you screw up a dish like this? The waitstaff was all over the place. a great little italian restaurant! – Mama Mia's Ristorante Italiano in Gilroy is superbly great! The food tastes like authetic Italian food that my great-grandmother used to make when I was a young kid. They have big portions with fair prices!! I highly recommend this excellent establishment to anyone!!
