Not impressed!!!! I was not impressed. The hostess was friendly but there was a very nonchalant waitress who took care of me; I was uncomfortable even asking questions. I was recently given a gift certificate to Mama Jennie's and I don't even want to go there after my last visit. Most of them were very friendly but I ended up with the waitress that made me feel unwelcome and the food was okay at best; I was not impressed being that it's an authentic Italian restaurant..
Mama Jennies is delicious! I have been going there for many years. It is a small place with a lot of atmosphere. It is worth the wait too. The weekend evenings can get very crowded. They have a small bar area where you can have a drink while you wait for your table. The food is always good. They offer an early bird special which includes a drink, entree and a choice for dessert. The prices are reasonable and the staff is always friendly.
Straight from Italia... My girlfriend and I went here and we loved it. Another friend of ours is a student at Jonson and Wales, and he highly recommened the place. It certainly did not disappoint. If you go, get the chicken and shrimp pasta!
Great Restaurant This warm friendly restaurant is helpful, serves great food and is reasonable, and best of all, they're 5 minutes from our house. We have eaten there for years and enjoy the meal every time we go. Wish there were more restaurants like this
