Consistently good food and friendly atmosphere Maltby's is a go-to favorite for a business lunch or evening meal with the family. The menu appeals to one and all as it offers a nice spectrum of light meals along with more substantial entrees. In spite of a less than ideal location for visibility, they have had staying power in Los Altos which says a lot in and of itself. Service is always friendly and repeat customers enjoy recognition by Maltby's long standing wait staff. Enjoy your meal!
fish-n-chips! Three words ... [fish] [n] [chips]. Probably don't want to eat these babies too often, but man, when you've gotta have some, this is the place! Friendly staff, and bottomless sodas!
Sunday night prime rib! Good family oriented pub style restaurant. Sunday night prime rib special is our family favorite. Great kids menu. Good/Great , but not exceptional, service.

Much more than pub grub! Maltby's with a pub feel is located downtown Los Altos with ample and convenient parking and is generally not too busy in the evenings. It has the traditional pub grub including very good fish and chips, bangers, liver, hamburgers, etc. They also have add much more to the menu including Fillet Mignon, Paella, Chicken Provencial, etc. Superb desserts and great beer selection (especially Belgian beers). All around a great experience.
