We recently had a radon mitigation system installed by Lonnie Mallon and had a great experience working with him. He is extremely knowledgeable, does a great job of explaining things, and his work is excellent. If you have to spend money on a radon system and want the job done right, I would highly recommend Mallon Construction. It will be money well spent on a guaranteed system.
I am a new homeowner in Iowa, and installed a radon system with Mallon. My house is an older home with an older unheated basement, and so I worked with Mallon to get the system working correctly with my pipes. They were very patient, very understanding and treated me so well. I've had an excellent experience and would recommend.

Mallon Construction Services came recommended to me for their honesty and integrity as a company. After testing my home there was no need for a mitigation system. Now as a personal friend I have seen him reduce the cost of customers mitigations due to the actual installation costs. I totally recommend his character and service to anyone.
Mallon Construction replaced a Radon Fan at our house. The part retails for about $140 at the top end and they said labor was about $100 for an hour for labor. Sales tax should be about 7%; in total this should be about $260. The part is just in the line for the vent system which is relatively easy to access so it should not have taken over an hour by any means. They charged us $320.
