I saw Dr Malik after being admitted to Saint Mary’s Medical Center. From the moment he walked into my room, I could tell he did not want to be there. He asked very few questions and did the absolute bare minimum. Listened to my heart and lungs and left the room. He has been dismissive, not just of my pain, just in general. I will refuse treatment from him if I ever get assigned to his care in the future. I could tell this was not new behavior. Dr Malik and his staff have been incredibly kind and helpful. He was my doctor while I was in the hospital and has continued to care for me. He is welcoming and easy to speak with. I’ve seen people write negative reviews about his hours of operation but I believe they are ignorant to the fact that he also works many hours in the hospital helping those in greater need of help. I wish more doctors were like him.
