Unfortunately when I called the 800 number for Cottage Hospital we were somehow referred to Malibu Seaside Serenity Cove as being more one on one individualized treatment and able to treat a duel diagnosis. The experience my child had was not what is advertised online, nor was it ran by a doctor, there is a psychologist whom refers to himself as the doctor, but we know they are unable to prescribe medication. I was attempting to contact Northpoint Recovery Centers, a great place I had been previously, and was somehow connected to recruiters for Seaside... In the state I was in, it wasn't until after I had given all my information, that I learned I was talking to a recruiter, who recruits for locations in California... Similar to another review on here, I was told this was a dual diagnosis facility, and I would have access to a gym, surf lessons, and the doctor four days per week, on top of a prescribing psychiatrist to name a few... read more

The staff is very caring and are positive people to be around. They will go above and beyond for you. The location is so pretty & serene. We love everyone there thank you Danielle, Caitlin, vanessa, Cristian, Frank, Dr. Ray, Jess & Emily you are all awesome and we are very grateful for the help getting clean

Malibu Seaside has helped a couple people I know. I was able to meet some of the staff, see the facility and meet the owner. The owner is very nice and his wife is very sweet. They are both caring individuals. Staff and facility were very inviting. Very well informed and you can tell they really do their best for every client.

Malibu Seaside Serenity Cove has been nothing but a great experience this is a place employed with people who care and truly want to see people recover. Located in beautiful Malibu where there is an amazing 12 step meeting at the Zuma Beach people can have a safe, serene environment where they can find sobriety.
