I just attended my friend's wedding here and although I have to say that I love how secluded and private it is, and the romantic vibe with all the pretty lighting, this venue was just a pain to find and completely not friendly for those wearing heels. When we arrived, there were no signs whatsoever so we actually drove past the place and had to make a u-turn around. The zoo was larger than I thought. My 2 year old had a great time. They need to keep the peacock confined to one area. Every where we went, we saw peacocks even in the pens of small animal. The peacocks were trying to eat the small animals which I did not like. Overall, if you have a few hours, take a stroll through the zoo. It's fun to see all the animals. The small petting area is great for kids.
