I've been waiting well over TWO (2) weeks now for a call to schedule an appointment for a procedure. My wife has called THREE (3) times and absolutely nothing! In the pass, I never had an issue. This is ridiculous. I cannot even see my doctor because they keep calling me to postpone my appointments. STOP ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS IF YOU CANNOT SEE THE ONES YOU'VE BEEN SEEING ALREADY, YOU GREEDY SOB'S.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Most arrogant physician I have ever met. On two occasions now I have been "treated" by Dr. Fumento in the Bayhealth ER. Each time was an unforgettable experience in terms of bedside manner. He is incredibly condescending and jumps to conclusions unsupported by any form of evidence. Based on these conclusions, he fails to provide the appropriate care. I have also recieved this type of treatment from this doctor. Never met a worse doctor in my life.
Was recommended to go to her for counseling so I went. Opened up and talked about a lot of depression and trauma in my life and she gave no recommendations or anything of that matter to help deal. She sent me on my way exactly at the hour and interrupted me mid sentence to get me out of there quicker. I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the extraordinary care provided to my father, during his recent stay on Unit 6B at Bayhealth’s Sussex Campus. Despite the personal challenges he faces and the fact that he can be difficult—even at times unappreciative—the staff treated him with remarkable compassion, professionalism, and respect throughout his admission. I find it deplorable that patients who were referred to Bayhealth by the Occupational Health center should have to wait hours (going on 6 hours now)for a chest x-ray. But a strep culture was more important. Both procedures do not take this long. The patients were referred due to smoke inhalation from a recent fire at their home. One of the patients has asthma & the other patient is 11 years old & shouldn't have to wait this long to have their needs attended too. This is the worst hospital that I've seen in Kent county. The Doctors are clueless and will use you as a guinea pig if you let them. The rooms smell like an old folks home and the care us absolutely horrible. Go to your private Doctor or urgent care for professional and better service I highly not recommend Kent General/ Bay health for anything. Save your life and stay away from this dump. Period.
My mom was hospitalized numerous times throughout a 3-month period and needed numerous specialists and surgeries. None of the doctors communicated with the other. Twice a doctor would start to discharge her only for a different doctor to rescind it. Tests or medications would be prescribed by one doctor only to be changed by another the very same day. Today, After giving this Hospital a well deserved terrible rating on Google, My 92 year Mother was seen for a fall on Saturday and had 2 Prior visits for falling. FINALLY , After a10hr wait in the emergency room she was admitted. She was being released today a nurse wheeled her outside. My MOM said she wanted to Walk to the car and that INCOMPETENT NURSE LET HER. She FELL AGAIN BEFORE REACHING THE CAR! They had to take her back in for X-rays.
