I had a very disappointing experience at this dental office in upstate NY. I first went in on a Friday. The doctor examined me and said I needed a filling but that it wasn’t an emergency. He told me I could come back on Sunday and wouldn’t be charged again, aside from the $160 consultation fee I paid that day. When I returned Sunday for the actual procedure, the doctor told me the cavity was larger than expected but that he hoped he saved the tooth from needing a root canal. Let’s talk a little about New York’s BEST dentist office. First of all, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The professional expertise, care, and concern of Dr. Malek is of the highest caliber. And I’m not sure where to start on the hygienist, great personality, amazing with all ages 0-100 (my 2-10 year olds don’t stop asking if they can go back to the dentist), and does a thorough and comfortable cleaning. I waited a hour to get one cavity when I needed more and they charged me $550 they don’t take insurance what a scam this was at the upstate location
