Very slow restaurant
Had a great meal at Mala Hot Pot in Ktown! We got the spicy beef tallow and tomato broth combo—perfect for switching things up. The fresh beef, tripe, and goose intestine were super fresh and tasty, and the tomato broth really made the shrimp dumplings and tofu skin shine. Also loved the crispy fried rice and the refreshing watermelon juice to cool down. Friendly service and fair prices for NYC.

Very impressed by its quality and the balance of flavor of the soup base. I’m originally from Sichuan and I can attest it’s also very authentic. Price also reasonable 👍
