Almost bought a brand new home built by Makray Homes in Pakenham. Luckily our building inspection detected the following: water leakage in ceiling, water leakage down walls, cheap materials used, showers not waterproofed, poor paint job, no man hole to the roof, no rendering over expansion joints, construction debris on roof, list goes on. The house was beautiful on appearance, but would have quickly lead to expensive issues. See attached image of water leakage in ceilings and wall from shower being turned on ONCE.
Anu at Makray Homes completely cheated me. I lived at 254 Highbury Rd, Mount Waverley for 1.5 years, always paid rent on time, and when it came time to get my $1000 bond back, she took $600 for “unpaid bills” I never once saw. Not a single proper bill was ever shown during my tenancy, and when I chased her for proof, she gave me nothing. The moment I moved out, Anu ignored my calls and messages for weeks, hiding behind the excuse of being “sick,” and even after that she never properly followed up.
