This review has been a long time coming! I had the pleasure of planning my family reunion of 52 people total ranging from ages 1yr old to 80+ years old! We stayed 6 days and 5 nights and rented the whole Wailea Inn house as well as the Penthouse Duplex house at Makoa Resorts for my grandmother’s side of the family reunion! It took two years to plan. Highly recommend Villas by the Cove for your next Maui vacation. Beautifully maintained/clean villas with a relaxing pool on well maintained grounds. Perfect ocean views. Topped off with a yoga studio which is perfect for early morning relaxation and a great way to start your day. All within steps of the beach, shopping, and great restaurants. The Cove is absolutely wonderful. A hidden gem in south Maui.
We stayed in Villa 6. The "King" bed is two twin beds pushed together. Got horrible sleep for 3 nights. Really affected the whole mood of the trip. The third night they provided a temperpedic topper to ease the stress of falling into the crevice all night which was a nice gesture. I was so disappointed that they refunded me for a night which was nice, but I felt it was the least they could do.
