We loved our stay in the Plantation House at the Villas at the Cove! The grounds are gorgeous filled with flowers and trees and birds! the house was huge and well equipped. The pool and pavillion were ideal for enjoying the hot and sunny Hawaiian weather. We were part of a group of 24 staying there for a relative's small wedding. On our vacation to Maui, my husband and I stayed at the Makoa Resorts. The villas were very nice, clean, safe and within walking distance of restaurants and beaches. The kitchen had everything needed to cook meals and the premises also had a washer/dryer for convenience. The villas also provided beach umbrellas, chairs and a coolers for trips to the beach. The villas at Makoa Resort are a wonderful place to stay, especially for groups. We visited for a wedding and had an amazing dinner together on the lanai one evening with everyone. Each family enjoyed having their own private space in the villas while still sharing the beautiful common outdoor areas and pool for group gatherings. The location was incredibly convenient for beach access, and we appreciated all the beach supplies thoughtfully provided by Makoa Resort.
