My wife had to wait 5 business days for her positive Mako Medical, Raleigh, NC PCR COVID-19 lab results and only finally received by her doctor's office making repeated calls. I got my PCR with Select Laboratories in Burlington, NC and got my negative test result within 24 hours. Mako, Very frustrating!
No one knows what is going on in their lab. Some agents tell us our specimen were received day before yesterday at 11AM and some are saying they received it today at 11Am. Agents over the phone are usless as they can be. They are just humans behaving like robots. They can not answer any questions, nor are willing to listen to or understand ones problems. I wish i had gone to other place for my covid test where MAKO labs are not involved.
My experience with Chad Price from Mako Medical has blown me away. I was tested for Covid a week ago-- with still zero results-- frustrated to say the least-- on hold for over 3 hours-- yes, three hours with no answers. Chad has a voice mail stating you can actually call him on his cell and gives the number. It was Thanksgiving day, I seriously thought -- no way will he call back-- no one ever does this-- guess what??
