Not impressed with Maklec Auto Electrical. In May of 2025 I left my Suzuki Jimny at Maklec to get a dc to dc charger fitted. While the installation was ok an issue appeared with the Kenwood Head Unit. The head unit would not auto select the correct source input. Which was surprising as this was never a problem before I dropped the car off. I asked Keith about it but got denial that they never touched the head unit. Had a great experience with this company ,my daughters car completely died so we had car towed there, we were told by RAC it was the onboard computer system which can be very pricey, Maklecs were very knowledgable and honest, they solved the problem running full diagnostics and fixing multiple error codes one by one and fitted a new correct battery that was the source of the problem in the first place, highly recommend these guys for being trustworthy and doing a great job, thought we were originally up for a new computer sy... read more
