I came straight from Burr Ridge and had such a great experience at Makki Studio. I did the 6 hands-on service with eyelash extensions, manicure and pedicure and everything was done so professionally and efficiently. The team greeted me with coffee and chocolate which was such a nice and thoughtful touch. The salon is beautiful, very clean and relaxing. You can really tell they care about hygiene and quality. I'm very disappointed with my friend's experience here. I gifted her a nail appointment as a birthday present since she was about to take her engagement pictures and wanted her nails to look beautiful for such an important moment. Unfortunately, when she arrived (on time and by appointment), the staff greeted her very unfriendly. This already created a negative tone. I had a lash removal here and I will say it’s a very nice place and the people also seem very nice. But during my lash removal the lady did not use pads under my eyes, this lead to remover getting in my eyes and burning my eyes on multiple occasions. I wanted to let her know but I’m a shy person and her coworker was talking to her, I didn’t want to make her look bad in front of her coworker.
