I rarely leave reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience. I encountered ongoing issues with lack of communication, delays, and a failure to take necessary steps to advance my case. I hired Amira in November of 2025 to finalize my divorce, which should of taken only a week or so. It has been over 3 months and she has failed to do anything but file a waiver. I'm unfortunately out $500 and still need my divorce decree so that my family can move forward with our lives. If I could go lower than a one star rating, I would. This person has no business taking on cases. She gets paid and disappears. She must be chased to do her job. I don’t know how she shows her face in public knowing how she operates and leaves people who are in very sensitive situations, hanging. We have never seen anything like it. Look at the other reviews and believe them. She will not fight for you like she says. During the consultation and a few follow-up phone calls, Ms. Makke seemed professional and attentive. Unfortunately, that level of communication did not continue. After initially being somewhat responsive, she ultimately ceased communication entirely and did not follow through with updates in regards to the case. One can assume there is nothing to update when NOTHING is being done with the case. I personally did not have a case with her, but someone very close to me did. Same as the recent reviews. Never returns phone calls, will ghost you, and never does what she says she will do.
