Switched from Dewalt to Makita as Makita was promoted as water resistant and we use these tools in high moisture environments. They have not performed any better than Dewalt in moisture environments and Makita won't stand behind them on warranty. Had several tools fail in less than a year. Don't recommend them for moisture related work.
