I have bought over $4000 in Makita tools last year we had 3 drills fail and 3 batteries fail I sent 2 drills and 2 batteries to Makita for service we faxed them receipts they had my tools over 3 months. finally a box arrived at my home with my drills smashed and completely destroyed in pieces and the batteries. what a company. I am filing a suite against Makita tomorrow at my local courthouse buyer beware Makita may be difficult in honoring their warranty
