My son has been going to Makerkids for the past 3 years with his friends. He really enjoy learning new skills through hands on learning and application. The staff there are very engaging and supportive. They really enjoy what they are teaching and make it really fun for the kids to learn. I highly recommend it.
Our kids have been going to MakerKids for 8 years (!!), and it’s been such an amazing experience. The curriculum keeps evolving, so they’re always learning new, relevant skills instead of the same old stuff. It’s been really cool to watch them grow from beginners into confident coders. They especially enjoy solving questions from coding competitions. The instructors are supportive and genuinely care about the kids. We’re so glad we found MakerKids and would definitely recommend it to kids who are into coding.
MakerKids has provided a fantastic start to my 7-year-old son in making tech a creative, intellectually stimulating, and interactive realm, not just a consumer experience. The staff have all been really great, and I think MK has a true mission, and a vital role to play, in providing learning and developmental opportunities that will stand kids in good stead.
My son has participated in MakerKids session from well before Covid, until now, when he aged out. MakerKids has a fantastic group of instructors!
My 7 year old son attended a week in the summer at Robotics & 3D Printing camp, and loved it! He was challenged with the processes, and learned so much. The take home made-at-camp items were super cool. He enjoyed learning from the Bloor Street instructors and enjoyed park time.
