It was an absolute pleasure to work with Sean! We had a pair of 60’s-era wooden chairs that we loved, but had abused over the years. Moving them by their armrests often, putting them on a covered porch, and trying to fix them ourselves left them in a sorry state. Sean expertly assessed the chairs, repaired and beautified them in his shop, and delivered them to me quicker than expected. He can also create new wood objects. Sean can make old or new wood look good! Highly recommended.
I had a vision for a space in my living room and Shawn made it happen. He built me a custom, one of a kind shelf to first house toys and as my son grew now it holds board games. I loved it so much I requested a low table for my plants as well. I love the variety of reclaimed wood he uses and the collaboration to create something I truly love.
Shawn made this beautiful egg holder for me. The story is that my in-laws had a close friend pass away. He was a woodworker too and I was able to get some of his stock wood from his wife, I then asked Shawn to make this egg holder for a gift to give my in-laws to have something that they would use daily to remember him by. They were extremely happy about this and so was I. Thanks Shawn!
This review is long overdue, so unfortunately I don’t have pictures of the cutting board fresh, but trust me she is a BEAUT! Shawn was amazing to work with for this cutting board gift. He made me an absolutely beautiful walnut cutting board in almost no time at all. The cutting board not only looks amazing but the quality is outstanding and it is beyond sturdy and solid. The cutting board Shawn made me is my favorite cutting board to use, the care he took in crafting it was truly amazing and shows in the quality. He also took the time to ask questions and determine exactly what I wanted and it came out better than I could ever imagine!
