Dr Makary is truly a loving, kind, intelligent man. He was my doctor for 20 years. I too had much difficulty with his staff. I just today called his office every 15 minutes for two hours that they were open. I needed my medical records sent to a specialist. AGAIN!!! Same lousy staff, no answer, they don’t care! His assistant Laura was awesome but she retired. Poor Dr Makary what is he to do with no good help....I keep him in my daily prayers. His staff should be ashamed of themselves.
Kind, loving and personable.... makes you feel like family.... as well as being a very good doctor
I tried to make an appointment and the lady on the phone said she can't hire people and take new patients. It was a very weird interaction and heart breaking that they will lose business...or maybe it doesn't matter to them.
Dr. Makary is one of the smartest people I've ever met. He is very knowledgeable and has a comforting bedside manner. His staff is friendly and very accomodating. I'm very happy to have him as my MD.
I used Dr. Makary’s office for 3 years. Generally only saw him for my annual and never really had a problem. Until this time. I set my appointments for the next annual the day of my last one (a year in advanced) they called me THE day of my appointment at 8:30 trying to change the time to two hours earlier and to call them back. I did but their answering service was on. I called up to 30 minutes AFTER they opened until their answering service was finally off.
