The trip was better than expected. We got to go into 3 different caves, snorkeled for about 25 minutes and made it to Kalalua valley. The boat ride on Napali Kai III was smoother than I thought, none of my family got sick and we are all prone to motion sickness.
**Update** I found out I can possibly get a refund through the credit card I used via a trip interruption benefit the card has. I called the tour company to get proof from them that we did not attend the tour and received no refund. In that phone call, I learned that the tour company may give me half of the money back for the tour if I provide proof that I was in the hospital. Truly a once in a lifetime experience that was only made better by the expertise and positive energy from Captain Rob, Elijah, and Neah. They made the Napali coast tour effortless and fun, and I appreciated them slowing down at times to point out the amazing wildlife around us like spinner dolphins, birds, and even goats in the mountains. I would recommend Makana Charters to anyone!
We had a fantastic trip with Captain A'a and his son. They were very knowledgeable and funny too! Dolphins, sea caves, waterfalls, and swimming in the ocean. Forever memories. Mahalo!
We had a wonderful day touring the Napali coast with Captain Tim and Ethan! Tim has some skills - backing into sea caves! We saw tons of spinner dolphins and were able to snorkel in a great spot. Fantastic day on the water!
