Every so often since our kitchen renovation, nearly ten years ago, I find myself standing in our kitchen and smiling: marveling at the beauty of the tile work, the design ideas that make shared cooking much easier, the cabinetry that renders things easily accessible, and the comments that come from visitors about what a beautiful house we have. It confirms the wisdom of our decisions to renovate our home rather than buying elsewhere, and entrusting the job to MAK.

I am under the impression that MAK is more expensive than other contractors (hard to tell because the proposals we received from different contractors were so different that an apples-to-apples comparison is impossible), but we wanted as trouble-free a construction process as possible, and after talking to some neighbors who said that they were unhappy with their remodels and wished they had paid more and gone with MAK, we decided to sign the contract. It has now been 10 years since MAK Design + Build remodeled our kitchen, so thought it would be a good time to come back and reiterate how much I appreciate the work that MAK did with our house. Ten years later, we still get compliments on our kitchen; the timeless design hasn't aged a day. MAK rebuilt an ADU kitchen for us. Their design team, led by Madelyn, was thoughtful and transparent, resulting in a beautiful and functional kitchen area. David, the project manager, was regularly on-site and a pleasure to work with, answering questions and addressing issues right away. The MAK team was incredibly easy to work with and responsive. All the subcontractors were professional and did quality work. MAK took care of everything from beginning to end with daily progress reports. Highly recommend!

We recently had our bathrooms and laundry room remodeled by MAK Design + Build and couldn't be happier with the results. Our spaces have been transformed.
