Wife, I and the dog and cat were traveling around Lake Superior from our home in Dorr Michigan last month. We had the slide on our camper stop working. I had an idea and bought a rod and socket adapter and stopped in to see if he could help. He knew what I was explaining to him and my idea and took the parts and said come back in a hour. You can never find a top notch company like Major machines, there in nothing they can't build or repair, great staff and the owner works right beside his men that tells you something about the man behind the company. Thank for your help ,we need more people like you.
Had a leaf spring break on and RV in white river, was recommended by Albert and Sons Service Centre in White River to check with Major Machine Works, who had all the proper parts. Very friendly staff and very helpful. I highly recommend both!
We pulled into Major Machine Works after dragging our trailer plug for a couple hundred km. The shop owner Sylvan was amazing in helping us get back on the road for our cross Canada adventure. Outstanding customer service! Many thanks Sylvan!!
Noticed our boat trailer bearing was shot when we gassed up along Hwy 17 at Marathon. Everything was closed so we were forced to stay the night but was recommended to chat with these fine folks in the early morning. They were booked for a week & a half but ended up fixing both of our trailers hubs & had us back on the road by noon! They even told us about a Lake Trout shore fishing spot along Lake Superior which was gorgeous & the bonus was that we caught a couple Trout while we waited for things to be repaired!
