We had our daughter a month ago and did all of our prenatal and postnatal care through Maitri. They have honestly been incredible. I had an uncomplicated unmedicated birth and it was a positive experience. Dr.Sarah Peters delivered our baby and she was the best! Staff is very nice. The phone tag required to do anything is a nightmare, they do call back quickly but if you call from noon to 1 they are closed and don't even allow you to leave a message? Really demoralizing for anyone working or just busy. I have had a positive experience with care at Maitri over the past few years and appreciate their holistic and calming approach. However, at my most recent visit, I arrived 9 minutes after my scheduled appointment and was told the provider could not see me and I needed to reschedule. They call at the 9 minute mark and will make you reschedule after that. I received the call while walking through the office door. They were decent for my first pregnancy, though appointments were rushed (even when doctors were 20+ mins late) & they caught IUGR late in my pregnancy. I then had an ectopic pregnancy. Most providers I interacted with were compassionate, but the surgeon who treated me lacked empathy and made the experience feel clinical rather than supportive after a loss. Performed a EU on me, awake, I have never been in so much pain or screamed so loudly.. birth was essier. Run away from Britta Werner. It has taken me almost 2 years to fully unpack what happened in that room. She is cold and devoid of empathy. I would not recommend maitri. Seeing they performed a D and C on another girl AWAKE is absolutely disgusting to me. (In the Google reviews)
