I wanted to love this practice because I have heard such great things, the providers themselves have been kind and my appointments have generally been good. I love this place! The best OB/GYN experience I've ever had. I went through my second pregnancy and delivery here and it was worlds better than my previous experience. Kristin W delivered me at UVM and it was an awesome experience.
If you like fast, curt, unfriendly, unpleasant, uncaring attitude, then go here! I went in for an annual Pap smear. Never in my life has a obgyn inserted a cytobrush inside my cervix and counted to 5 out loud for every rotation she turned it. I do recommend Champlain Gynocology in Essex Junction instead. Forget Maitri, they just want you in and out the door.
We had our daughter a month ago and did all of our prenatal and postnatal care through Maitri. They have honestly been incredible. I had an uncomplicated unmedicated birth and it was a positive experience. Dr.Sarah Peters delivered our baby and she was the best! We had multiple appointments with her and felt like she really listened to my questions and concerns. I didn’t feel rushed through any of my appointments.
